In Promostyl’s Winter
07/08 theme, PURE, ancestral techniques are blended with architectural elements
of pleating to create dresses, decorative details or furniture.
At the last Fair of Milan, Spanish designer, Patricia Urqhiola, presented a chaisse-longue with pleating of a variable geometry called ANTIBODI, edited by MOROSO. In the same vein, is the POLICROMI collection by MARCO ZANUSO of folded and cut-out polished aluminum. The metal is worked to create modern, fun designs that are both furniture and sculpture.
